On October 10, we drove to Edmunds for the wedding of Dennis's brother Royce. They got married on a Washington State Ferry sailing from Edmonds to Kingston. (about a 30 minute trip). This ferry thing was all new to us. First off we had to wait in a line, to get in line, to beable to board the ferry. Second it was very pricey (I don't think we will be doing that too often)! After about an hou
r wait we boarded the ferry just in time to run up the stairs and sit down before the wedding started. It was pretty neat. How they pulled this off was amazing!! The pictures did not turn out real well because the sun was pretty bright (shocker, I hear for this time of the year). The kids thought it was really fun, especially Karlie. I kept expecting the ferry to turn so that I was not sitting backwards anymore. It took me awhile to figure out that concept (To my credit it had already been a long day).
