Kody Runs Again!!

Just because it is Spring Break there is no rest for the "runners".  We traveled to Federal Way for an invite.  It was kind of cool because it was a night meet and they ran under the lights of the stadium and really cool, literally because it was cold!! The girls and I sat in the car as long as we dared and then we braved the chilly weather.   Kody ran the 2 mile.
He finished in 2nd place!
Eight laps is really long.  I catch myself losing track of how many laps are left during the race.
It was really fun to watch though!!
After the meet Kody and I were checking the results.  As we were searching I came across the results of the mile.  It said he took 4th in the Mile. The only problem is that he did not run the mile??
He now says it is true he can run the mile in his sleep in under five minutes!

Good for your son! What an awesome achievement! Coming in 2nd is great! He finished the race and I always tell my runner son, finishing is what counts! Awesome! Tell him he did an excellent job and in the cold weather to boot!
