Kayla and Kelsee have been running with a Track Club. It was something Kelsee wanted to do and we urged Kayla to do it too. Today was the first meet.
Kayla ran the 400m, 200m and did the softball throw.
Kelsee ran the 100m and the 200m
She took 4th in both events. Even though she is eight she has to run with the 9-10 year olds. It is crazy.
She did good though!
Kayla was excited to come home with two 3rd Place ribbons. One in the 400 and one for the softball throw.
The competitive gene skipped her. She is all about making friends and being nice, all good things!! She was pretty excited though.
Poor Kelsee felt bad leaving without any ribbons. Next time!!
It rained pretty hard the whole time. Luckily, it subsided near the end and we got to see this:
