Friends
A group of wonderful ladies took me to lunch today as a last get together before I move. It really made me think about the importance of friends in my life. I am so grateful to have people to discuss problems with, talk about our children, get advice from, let frustrations out, dream and laugh with. Someone who understands you and knows the ups and downs that we go through as women. Having good friends as an adult is as important as when you are a child. My daughters ran the 1/2 mile in school today, the younger one beat the older one. (No surprise there). When I asked her why she did not run faster she explained that she ran with another girl who has asthma and she did not want to leave her by herself. That was nice and I don't need to say anything else to her on that subject, she was being a good friend. Our friends can influence us in all ways. Right now I am thankful for good friends who influence and help in doing good things. I am going to miss these friends dearly, but I will treasure them always.
