Luckily, I was in town to attend a retirement party for my dad put together by some of his former students and athletes. He taught for 40 years and coached various High School teams for 24 years. It was cool to see the people and the high respect held for my dad. He is a great guy.He was my sixth grade teacher and was my favorite teacher in all my school years. My mom was nervous since I was the oldest but it turned out to be really good for all of us. All my family attended the event. It has been a really long time since we have all been together. We were just missing Dennis.
