On our honeymoon we were headed to Seattle (a little ironic) and our car broke down. We ended up staying in this little dive motel, but atleast it was not the Bate's Motel that was across the street. That was a bit too creepy for me. So since we have made it 2o years we decided to take a little trip. Dennis really wanted to go to Kansas City to take in some church history sites. I was happy he actually came up with the idea so I went for it. We flew out on July 16. The bad thing was flying Southwest we did not even get to sit by eachother. It makes for a really long flight. We were hoping to find some good food when we got there but just ended up disappointed. The pathetic thing was the best food we had was in the Seattle airport and our free breakfa
st at the motel.

We visited Independence, Liberty Jail, Far West and Dennis's favorite Adam-Ondi-Ahman.

He suprised me and got us Royals tickets. We had awesome seats. It turned out to be Fireworks Friday. Then we spent atleast 45 minutes trying to find our car in the parking lot. New lesson: when parking in huge parking lots. Pay more attention to the details.

We then spent one whole day riding rollercoasters at "Worlds of Fun".
It was nice to get away and just spend time together. Now onward to the next 20 years.
