PLAN B

Well for starters we had planned on spending Spring Break week in Idaho visiting family and friends. Kody would have missed drivers ed and when we signed him up did not realize that you had to pay to make up classes (the cost alone was very extreme). So after much debate we decided to just leave later and only pay for one make up class. There's where everything went wrong.. The weather turned horrible and the passes we would have to take were unpassable to say. So we went with Plan B.
Yesterday I receive a coupon from a friend for an incredible deal on the Seattle Aquarium which was only good that day. So I decided to brave it and drive into downtown Seattle. It was so funny because as we got close to the city Kelsee yelled out, "Wow it is so pretty". It was like she had never seen it before. It was cool though because the overcast sky was almost a green color giving a new impression of "The Emerald City" Dennis had my camera so Kayla took all the pictures with hers.

We had a good time at the aquarium. It was really crowded at first but after a few minutes it died down and we were really able to look around.






Kelsee wanted to touch the Starfish but kept chickening out!

We had a good time and not wanting to jump on the freeway at 4:00 pm we walked up and wandered through Pike Place Market. Eating some fresh donuts and buying 2 new Barbies for $5 were our highlights. I even splurged and bought myself some flowers. Other than trying to stop at the lights on the steep inclines trying to get out of Seattle and the Gps not knowing where we were, I survived my first drive into Seattle and will do it again!! Today we are going to the movies. Kody is going with his friends and the girls and I are going to Monsters Vs. Aliens. They are so excited!!
